Donations for Christmas Decorations

As  Colon Village President, I am asking for donations to be made for Christmas decorations for our wonderful downtown area. I know that each and everyone of you love our town of Colon and wouldn’t it be great if we could really spice the town up during the holiday season.

Any type of contribution would greatly be appreciated. Wouldn’t it be a great feeling come winter, when you drive downtown Colon, looking and admiring the beautiful decorations and thinking to yourself WOW I helped make this happen.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to contact either Julie Baker, at the Village Hall 432-2532, or myself at 432-4070.

Please make contributions to the Village of Colon. Thank you so much for your time and contributions.

We would like to send a special thanks to those who donated in 2006. American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Bower’s Service, Colon Lions Club, Colon Lioness Club, Colon Kiwanis, Drumhiller Construction, FAB Magic, Fisher Excavation, Maxitrol, River Lake Inn, Shamrock Farm, Smolarz Dentistry, Sturgis Bank & Trust-Colon Banking Center and Tomlinson Law Office,  with your generous donations we were able to purchase the lighted stars uptown.

Sincerely,

Thomas Whitford Village President
