A beautiful day made for a great debut for the Colon Car show during the Magic Week Festivities. The winner was a 1970 purple-blue Nova with over 100 votes at a quarter a piece (the Nash was this writers favorite, followed by the Coke panel truck and the “Blues Brothers” Lincoln Continental with the blue flames). Snacks and refresment’s were sold in the pavilion and a great time was had both by the car owners and car viewers.
The “Rabbit in a Roadster” Magic Pin was being sold by the Lions Club at the Get-together performances and at Abbotts. These pins are designed by Lion Glenn Blackman’s wife, Marcia, and are different every year.
There were 51 cars in the show, so well over half of the participants got a door prize. A Big Thanks to the merchants who supplied door prizes including the following
